DESCRIPTION:OBAP's ACE Academy is designed to expose youths to the wide var
 iety of career opportunities in aviation and aerospace. The program offers
  students a hands-on experience of learning the aviation history\, fundame
 ntals of aerodynamics\, the role of government in aviation and the many ca
 reers available in the aerospace field.\n\nThe ACE Academy is a multi-day 
 event for middle and high school students that have a general interest in 
 learning about aviation. The goal of ACE Academy is to expose students to 
 the many different careers in aviation. We also aim to show them the pract
 ical application of the Science\, Technology\, Engineering\, and Mathemati
 cs (STEM) subjects. By the end of the program\, we hope that the participa
 nts will have a wider horizon of the many career opportunities available t
 o them. We challenge our students to strive for excellence.\n\nThis progra
 m is targeted to 13- to 18-year-olds. Students will engage in multiple tou
 rs. There will also be classroom learning and hands on activities. For exa
 mple\, participants will build and fly multiple aerospace vehicles and lea
 rn the history of the Tuskegee Airmen.\n\nRegistration ends June 8\, 2026.
