DESCRIPTION:The Rotary International District 6510 Scholarship will fund tw
 o scholarships to an accredited College or Trade\nSchool to two high schoo
 l seniors residing in Rotary District 6510. Awards will be $2\,500.00 each
 . Winners\nwill be presented at the High School Senior event where Scholar
 ships are awarded (if possible). Recipients will\nagree to have their awar
 ds publicized throughout Rotary International District 6510.\n\nSelection 
 Criteria\n• Academics at B average or better (Maximum of 5 points)\n• 
 School Involvement – Service\, Clubs\, Athletics\, etc.\; cite/explain l
 eadership roles (officer\, chair\, section\nleader\, awards\, etc.) (Maxim
 um of 10 points)\n• Community Involvement and Volunteerism\; cite/explai
 n leadership roles as above. Include full/part-time jobs you have had to s
 upport your own ambitions. (Maximum of 10 points)\n• Educational and Car
 eer Plan (Maximum of 5 points)\n• Essay (max 400 words) describing how t
 he Rotary Motto “Service Above Self” affects\,\nhas affected\, or will
  affect your life in the future (400-word limit). (Maximum of 10 points)\n
 \nConditions for Receiving Funds\n• Student must provide proof of full-t
 ime enrollment (Tuition bill\, Registration form\, with official logos)\n
 • Upon proof of enrollment\, money will be paid to the college or univer
 sity\; students must submit\ntuition bill for the fall semester to receive
  the $2500 award.\n• Withdrawal from college or university shall result 
 in the return of unused portion of funds.\n\nCompleted applications should
  be received by May 1st. Decisions will be made in May.\nLate applications
  will not be accepted. Do not send photographs with your application.
