SUMMARY:Summer at SLU STEM Immersion Experience (Overnight Program)
DESCRIPTION:The School of Science and Engineering STEM Immersion Camp is de
 signed to provide underrepresented students an understanding of STEM field
 s and education opportunities\, practical college readiness information (i
 ncluding application and financial aid information)\, and opportunities to
  engage with industry leaders and role models to learn about various STEM 
 career paths. The camp is designed specifically for students seeking to le
 arn more about opportunities in STEM and college readiness. Rising high sc
 hool sophomores\, juniors and seniors who currently have a 2.5 GPA or high
 er are eligible. Students must live within a 50-mile radius of St. Louis. 
 This camp was designed to encourage underrepresented high school students 
 from diverse backgrounds to pursue STEM careers. This is a six-day\, five-
 night residential camp for students in the St. Louis area.\n\nNote that th
 is application does not guarantee acceptance into the program. All applica
 tions will be reviewed. If your student is accepted into STEM Immersion Ex
 perience\, you will receive an email with next steps to complete registrat
 ion - communications about your acceptance into the program will be sent t
