The massive warehouse east of Interstate 255 doesn’t look much different from the dozen or so that line Gateway Center Commerce Drive.
But instead of big rigs lined up along the loading docks, clusters of construction equipment and workers were scattered around the building, hurrying to retrofit the warehouse in time for its new tenant: online retail behemoth Amazon.
