A local organization broke ground Tuesday on a new advanced manufacturing facility, where it aims to convene businesses and workforce development programs to boost manufacturing jobs in the region.
The 150,000-square-foot building is to be built on a vacant lot on Finney Avenue, beside Ranken Technical College, north of the Central West End.
Slated for completion in mid-2025, it will serve as the flagship site for the Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Center St. Louis.
