General Motors is investing approximately $157 million in its Wentzville Assembly plant in Missouri, funding paint-shop upgrades and modernization work at the facility that builds the Chevy Colorado, GMC Canyon, Chevy Express, and GMC Savana. The announcement comes as GM has committed more than $430 million to two U.S. manufacturing sites in the past month.
The Wentzville investment includes new paint-processing equipment, a roughly 28,000-square-foot expansion, and a major refurbishment of existing paint-shop infrastructure.
