Cambridge Air Solutions has signed a new lease in Wentzville, marking the company’s second location in the St. Louis region.
The lease is for 68,605 square feet of industrial space at 1290 Interstate Drive in Wentzville. Cambridge Air Solutions, headquartered in Chesterfield, manufactures and distributes HVAC systems. It’s not clear how many employees will work at the location. Cambridge officials did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
The company’s expansion was credited to the increased demand for equipment and systems that improve air quality in light of Covid-19, according to Alfredo Gutierrez of Houston-based SparrowHawk LLC, which is an industrial real estate firm and co-owner of the property.
Cambridge’s lease, whose terms were not disclosed, means the 420,000-square-foot building is now fully leased. The property is owned by a joint venture between SparrowHawk STL Industrial LLC, an entity affiliated with SparrowHawk LLC, and American National Insurance Co.
