“The coalition behind a proposed Hyperloop route between St. Louis and Kansas City has secured private funding to move forward with a feasibility study.

Kansas City-based Black & Veatch Corp. will provide the $1.5 million needed to study the proposed 240-mile route, which could get passengers and freight from St. Louis to Kansas City in 23 minutes. The study will look into route and tech alignment, regulatory framework, funding model recommendations and the potential economic, environmental and social impact of a Hyperloop route integrated into the Interstate 70 corridor that runs across the state of Missouri. The study will start next month and will take about six to nine months to complete…”
